Jet Grouting

Jet grouting rotates a probe into the ground and excavates a cavity with air, water or combinations of both into which cement is then introduced. The resultant columns can range from 24” diameter to 60” diameter. By creating single columns, bearing capacity units can be constructed. Overlapping columns can be utilized to create impervious walls similar to secant walls. Base slabs of jet grouted columns which will resist basal heave can be constructed by producing overlapping columns in two dimensions which form an impervious base of strengthened material.
